Muslim Interscholastic Tournament
MIST is a fun, educational, interactive program of competitions and workshops geared
towards bringing high school students together from around the nation to develop leadership,
communication, and other creative skills in order to develop a strong identity.

Fundraising for DC MIST
Muslim
M Muslim: A believer of La Ilaha IllAllah. We stand strong as believers and love each other for the sake of Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala).
Inter
IInter meaning that we look out for one another and that we participate and compete with one another. Nothing’s ever more fun than that.
Scholastic
S Scholastic because we can rip up the court with our skills – but we also have brains, Alhamdulillah. This is when we actually put it all to the test.
Tournament
TTournament because somebody’s gotta go home with the grand prize. The tournament gets the competitive spirit rushing.
