Announcing: the MIST Epic Chants Video Contest!
Can’t hide that MIST pride? Want to let the other teams know who you are?? Well, better get your video cameras out – it’s time to get MISTified!
From Saturday, February 25th to March 17th, 2012, YOUR TEAM will have the opportunity to create your very own epic chant video! DC MIST encourages you to be creative with your chants while adhering to proper Islamic etiquette.
Competitors must upload their video to YouTube as an unlisted video and send a link to the video to marketing@dcmist.com. For instruction on how to do this, please see this link on YouTube’s help page: http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=181547
Again – please upload your video to YouTube as unlisted and send a link to the video to marketing@dcmist.com. Careful – if the video is not unlisted, everyone will be able to see your work before the judging period!
The video must follow these rules:
- The video must not be any longer than four (4) minutes in length.
- No use of music is allowed.
- Islamic attire and etiquette must be followed in all aspects of the video.
- Do not use any copyrighted materials.
- The MIST board has the right to disqualify any video that it does not deem adherent to the rules.
The MIST board will choose the winning Epic Chant, which will then be shown during the Awards Ceremony during the MIST weekend.
